Revitalizing recovery ice cream
Do you love ice cream? If so you can make a healthy alternative that will give your muscles the fuel they need to recover!
- Vanilla Protein Powder (1 scoop)
- 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
- Maple syrup to taste
- Cinnamon to taste
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and freeze for no longer than 1.5 hours. Enjoy! You can use any flavor protein powder with your yogurt to make strawberry or chocolate flavors!
Hot Cocoa recovery bliss
Who doesn’t love hot chocolate on a cold winter night? Recover while you sip on a warm mug of hot cocoa that will help your muscles feel good!
- Chocolate Protein Powder (1 scoop)
- 8 oz hot water
- a few small marshmallows
Mix all ingredients and enjoy! You can add a drop or two of peppermint essential oil to create a mocha/peppermint treat!
